The grim image painted by the news is an accurate reflection of the gravity of the situation on ground in the world, with utmost cruelty of ISIS, the dastardly attacks of Al-Shabab in East Africa and Boko Haram menace in Nigeria. God however is at work, saving many to Himself even in the most terrible situations.

The 10/40 Window confronts us with several important considerations: first, the historical and biblical significance; second, the least evangelized countries; third, the dominance of three religious blocs; fourth, the preponderance of the poor; fifth, the unreached people groups; sixth, the least evangelized megacities; and seventh, the strongholds of Satan within the 10/40 Window.

This call to prayer coincides with the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan and highlights Muslim peoples across the world. Praying together unites Christians and helps them overcome fears of Muslim peoples and encourages faith, hope and love towards the Muslims and the unreached groups.

The goal is to help Christians realize that Muslims are regular people that can be loved and reached with the gospel of Christ. We urge you to not only get involved in this crucial prayer campaign, but to also enlist your praying friends, your prayer group, and your church. Let us believe God for mighty breakthrough among the unreached groups as we pray together during this annual prayer campaign.

“God wants all people to be saved and to come to knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus” 1 Tim 2:4-5(NIV)

"To belong to Jesus is to embrace the nations with Him." — John Piper
